RoomReel (“RoomReel,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a real estate walkthrough video creation app that helps users scan spaces, record guided walkthrough videos, generate floor plan overlays, and export listing videos.

This Privacy Policy explains how RoomReel handles information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services.

1. Information We Collect

RoomReel is designed to process most project data locally on your device. Depending on how you use the app, the following information may be created, accessed, collected, or stored.

1.1 Project Information

When you create a project, RoomReel may store information such as:

• Project name
• Property address or location information you choose to enter
• Project description or notes
• Project creation date
• Basic device or app metadata needed to create and manage a project, such as app version, iOS version, device capability information, and project file format information

This information is used to organize your projects and help you manage real estate walkthrough content.

1.2 Camera, Video, and Microphone Data

RoomReel uses your device camera to record walkthrough videos.

If you grant microphone permission, RoomReel may also record audio as part of your walkthrough video. Microphone access is optional and is used only for recording audio in videos when enabled.

Videos and audio recordings are stored locally on your device unless you choose to export, save, or share them.

1.3 Room Scans, Floor Plans, and Spatial Data

RoomReel uses Apple device capabilities such as LiDAR and AR scanning features to generate room structure data, floor plans, spatial layouts, and related scan packages.

This may include:

• Room layout data
• Floor plan structure
• Wall, room, and spatial geometry information
• AR world mapping data
• Positioning and tracking metadata used to align video with floor plan overlays

This data is used to display room layouts, generate minimap overlays, show walkthrough routes, and create enhanced real estate videos.

Room scan data, floor plan data, AR data, and related project files are primarily stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share them.

1.4 Location, Motion, Compass, and Heading Data

RoomReel may request access to your device’s location to support features such as project location, property location, direction awareness, orientation, heading, and related walkthrough functionality.

RoomReel may also use device heading, compass, and motion-related data to support features such as real-time orientation, navigation overlays, route visualization, and compass HUD display.

Location, compass, heading, and motion data are used for app functionality. They are not used for advertising or tracking you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

1.5 Photos Library Access

If you choose to save exported videos to your Photos library, RoomReel will request access to write the exported video to your device’s photo library.

RoomReel uses Photos access only to save exported videos or to support user-initiated sharing and export actions. RoomReel does not scan, upload, or analyze your photo library for advertising or tracking purposes.

1.6 Purchase and Subscription Information

RoomReel may offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases through Apple’s StoreKit 2. Payment processing is handled by Apple. RoomReel does not receive or store your full payment card information.

RoomReel may use Apple-provided transaction and entitlement information to determine whether your subscription or purchase is active, expired, restored, pending, or otherwise valid. RoomReel does not require account registration or login to verify StoreKit 2 entitlements, and RoomReel does not currently use its own backend server for subscription verification.

1.7 Analytics and Crash Reporting Information

RoomReel uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help understand app performance, diagnose crashes, improve reliability, and improve the user experience.

Firebase Analytics may collect app usage information, such as app events, feature interactions, session information, device information, approximate location information, app version, operating system information, and related analytics data.

Firebase Crashlytics may collect crash reports and diagnostic information, such as crash logs, device information, operating system information, app version, device state at the time of a crash, and technical identifiers used to diagnose and group crashes.

This information is used to:

• Understand how RoomReel features are used
• Improve app reliability and performance
• Diagnose crashes and technical issues
• Improve usability and product experience
• Maintain and debug the app

RoomReel does not use Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics for advertising, ad targeting, or tracking you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
